Before Your Session
You'll get styling and location guidance ahead of time, so wardrobe and where-to-meet are settled before the day arrives.
During Your Session
There's no rigid shot list. We'll walk, talk, and let everyone interact naturally, with a little direction from me only when it helps — especially if kids need a nudge back on track.
After Your Session
Your images are hand-edited and delivered as an online gallery, ready to download, print, and share.

Plan Your Session
We'll pick a date, talk through location and outfit ideas, and get everything set so you can just show up.
Show Up & Have Fun
No stiff posing. We'll laugh, move, and let the real moments happen while I photograph around the edges of it.
Receive Your Gallery
Within two to three weeks, your online gallery arrives — full of the moments that actually felt like your life.

A few things people ask
What happens if my kids don't cooperate?
That's completely normal — I don't expect (or need) perfectly behaved kids. We'll move, play, and let the real moments happen; some of the photos people treasure most happen in between the posed ones.
What should we wear?
There's no strict dress code. Every session includes styling and outfit guidance beforehand, so everyone feels comfortable and the whole family looks put together.
Where do sessions take place?
Around El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Cameron Park, Placerville, and the greater Sacramento region. I'm happy to help you choose a location, or we can shoot at a favorite spot of yours.
What happens if it rains?
Weather doesn't always cooperate — if it looks like rain, just reach out and we'll talk through rescheduling options together.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
About two to three weeks after your session, you'll receive your professionally edited gallery, ready to download and share.
What's included in our gallery?
You'll receive a professionally edited online gallery of high-resolution digital images with full print rights — the strongest images from your session, ready to download, print, and share.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course — pets are part of the family, and they're always welcome at your session.
Do you photograph extended families?
Yes — from immediate families to multi-generational groups, extended family sessions are something I love photographing.
How far in advance should we book?
Reach out as soon as you know your ideal timeframe and I'll let you know what's available for that season.
Can you help us choose a location?
Absolutely — location guidance is part of every session, whether you already have a spot in mind or want suggestions.
